This website describes our work: vintage kimono and obi silk sourced in Kyoto, sewn into one-of-a-kind purses. Photographs and copy belong to Kyotokura unless noted.

Each bag is unique. When a textile is gone, that bag is gone. We do not restock a motif.

Sales, shipping, returns, and payment are handled on Etsy, under Etsy’s checkout terms. This site does not process cards.

Vintage silk carries its age. We cut around damage we will not stand behind; what remains may still show a softened fold or a shift in color. That is the cloth, not a defect we hide.
